If they
mention, DMP or Debt Management Plans then walk away... No, run
away. They are going to take hundreds if not thousands of your
dollars to 'help' you with your credit card debt... And they may
never clear up your debt and you're a thousand more dollars in the hole.
A real debt consolidation agency will not negotiate with your creditors
but will give you a plan... a budget. (nasty word isn't it?)
Remember legitimate credit repair or credit consolidation agencies
won't charge up front. Or if they do charge you, it will be a
small
amount like $20 or $30.
